So now that we’re at the end of May already (how?!) I’ve decided to write about the products I’ve been loving throughout May and the previous months!

Bondi Sands

This tan has very very quickly become my favourite tanning product to use. I’m afraid of using tanning mousses/sprays/anything like that just in case it goes very badly wrong so gradual tanning lotions are always my go-to! This tan is particularly amazing because it smells like coconuts. I’m not even a massive fan of coconut scented things but it smells 1000x better than your usual fake tan smell. It’s not stupidly expensive either, the gradual lotion was only £11.99 in Superdrug, but if I’m correct they also sell it in Boots and on ASOS!

Nivea Mens Post Shave Balm

I have always struggled with trying to keep makeup on my face – I have oily/combination skin and my makeup would slip off my chin/forehead by the time I left my house. I’d tried many different primers but none worked as well as the Nivea Post Shave Balm. I was incredibly skeptical that this would work but 2 months later and it is still my go-to primer! It’s also considerably cheaper than the majority of primers at £3 – £5 for a 100ml bottle. You literally only need a tiny bit to cover your whole face so it will last you AGES!

Ralph Lauren Romance

I received this perfume from someone for Christmas the year before last, I can’t remember who! I ran out of that little bottle so my boyfriend very kindly bought me a larger one and I’m actually reluctant to use it because of how much I love it! I’ve had so many compliments from people at work when I wear it and I really don’t know what I’ll do when I run out. I’m useless at describing scents so I won’t even try; you’ll just have to go into your nearest perfum shop and smell it!

Sleek Eyebrow Kit

My eyebrows are another problem area, they are incredibly high maintenence and never go the shape I want them to, not to mention they aren’t even nearly symmetrical! I actually bought this kit in medium, the wrong colour, but that has not stopped me using it every day, with the right amount of product and my already thick and dark brows, you can’t tell! There is a pomade on the left and a powder on the right and comes with some brushes and little tweezers. I don’t use the brushes provided, I use my Nyx eyebrow brush (number 18 I think). The kit itself cost £8.49 at Boots, worth it considering I’ve been using it for a while now and it has not yet dried up like some others….*cough* Nyx brow pomade….

Alpha H Liquid Gold

To put it bluntly, this product has been a lifesaver. Basically, it’s a liquid exfoliator you use every two days, you just put it on a cotton pad and wipe it on your face. Any bad spots I get (and I get A LOT) take forever and a day to fade, but since using this I have noticed such a remarkable improvement in my skin. Old marks have begun to fade and new marks aren’t lasting as long as they used to. It’s probably not all down to this one product as I have improved my skin care regime a lot in the past year, but it definitely deserves a special mention. It always leaves my skin incredibly soft the next day! It’s quite pricey at around £33.50 for a 100ml bottle, but Cult Beauty (where I bought it from) sometimes do two-for-one deals, which is what enticed me to buy it, so keep an eye out!

I hope you enjoyed this insight into what I’ve been loving recently, I’d love to hear what you‘ve been loving too!
